The first Arroyo Seco Freako Microthon on April 1, 1975 was a two-team relay challenge match among the five Originals (John Beckman, Len Efron, Ken Atkins, Dick Davies, and Lou Friedman). Each 2.5-mile relay leg looped across the dam and returned through the wash. There was no pre-race announcement flyer, but an official "track memorandum" describes the results.

Missing data - Note that we're currently missing: emailed information from the 1995-1996 races; emailed race results from 2001 and 2003; paper announcement flyers from 1991-1992; and paper results flyers from 1988 and 1990-1991. If anyone has copies of the missing emails or flyers from these race years in your personal files, please send the race information to Melora Larson so we can post it on this website.

Race courses over the years - The course for the Arroyo Seco Freako Microthon takes runners in and around the wash south of JPL, but the exact route has varied from year to year due to trail and bridge conditions. See this list of all the routes used over the history of this race.
